Creative Educational Centre – KEC is a youth, non-governmental and non-for-profit organization established in Novi Sad (Serbia) in December 2004 by group of student from University of Novi Sad. Creative educational centre is working on volunteer basis recruiting every year new active members, mostly students. We don’t have permanently or part time employed people but we have enough professional capacities including competence and project leadership know-how. KEC is actively cooperating with OSCE Mission to Serbia, Executive Council of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, European movement in Serbia, and many other youth and students’ organisations and NGO’s. Especially active in Festival organization are A-SMYLE alumni, EESTEC Novi Sad and PSANS members.

Primary activity of our organization is non-formal education and skills development. The mission of Creative Educational Center is to encourage young people to actively change the world around them, to use their creativity and innovative ideas, to sustainably learn and develop their own skills, in order to make the world a better place for living.

KEC’s main activity is organization of European Youth Week in Novi Sad – eYouwins. eYouwins is the one of the first and the largest youth festivals with a thematic focus in Serbia. eYouwins is dedicated to youth in Serbia, Europe and worldwide, and its mission is to promote the spirit of cooperation, to link cultures, ideas and above all, people. Festival has started in 2006 and in short time gained popularity among young people all over Europe. During the last four years more than 5000 young people were involved in the Festival events and almost 400 guests from 25 countries visited Novi Sad and Serbia.

The Festival's focus is every year on current topics of interest for youth in Serbia, region and the world. It fosters real-life intercultural dialogue, exploration of cultural diversity, development of knowledge, personal skills and attitudes. The aim is to promote and encourage active participation of young people in all aspects of society and help equipping them with necessary knowledge, skills and competences for current and future challenges. eYouwins offers experience of meeting different cultures and becoming more open towards them in order to contribute in the battle against all existing borders, especially intolerance and prejudices. Promoting communication, acceptance of differences and tolerance among youth, enabling to meet as many young people from other cultures and other nations as possible enriches experience of young people and result in highly appreciated skill in modern society – skill of intercultural dialogue.

As an acknowledgment for excellence in organizing eYouwins and partnering with institutions, organizations and companies, the organization has been awarded with a prestigious business, professional, and public recognition “Business Partner” for 2009 by Mass Media International (www.bpartner.co.rs).
